On Saturday morning I went to Shaw University's WSHA radio station as a guest for their "Traces of Faces and Places" program, hosted by Mrs. Margaret Rose Murray. Mary-Ann Baldwin, another at-large candidate for Raleigh city council and Ed Armogida, candidate for district 6 school board were also in attendance. For three hours that morning we took questions from the hosts as well as callers, and I have to say that it was one of the more delightful events I've participated in as a candidate. Our hosts were very gracious, and asked excellent questions. From transportation to public safety to economic development the issues ran the gamut. I also appreciated the fact that we were not strictly time-limited, and were able to engage in some back and forth conversation and have an actual dialogue. Thank you Mrs. Murray and WSHA for inviting me!
